HTML and MODX/Fenom tags kept intact

MODX tags and Fenom are protected and saved character for character. HTML the editor has no tool for is kept as an HTML block. If you open a resource and save it without editing, the content is saved exactly as it was.

Images, captions and galleries

Add images from the Media Browser, from your computer or by link, with captions and an "open larger" link for your lightbox script. Galleries use grid, slider or your own templates.

Tables

Insert and edit tables with a table toolbar, merged cells and class presets. Existing tables keep their sections, attributes and cells as written.

Profiles and settings

Set the toolbar in a system setting, and use profiles for the content field and for each TV. Add an external JSON config and your site CSS inside the editor. No rebuild needed.

Media Sources and MODX permissions

Files, uploads and searches go through MODX, so Media Source policies, resource group ACL and user permissions all apply.

No CDN, no paid features

Everything is bundled with the package. No Tiptap Cloud, no API keys, no paid extensions; the editor itself calls no third-party service.
